Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for a strategic and analytical Digital Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for rebuilding and managing our acquisition program. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, entrepreneurially-minded candidate who is eager to build a program from scratch, rather than make minor optimizations to an existing program. 

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing data to set strategy, making creative recommendations, and digging into our various platforms to consistently and correctly execute the work (or work with our agency partners where appropriate). This position reports directly to the VP of Marketing and will play a crucial role in achieving business goals for the next 12 months and beyond. 

Responsibilities:

  • Rebuild our acquisition channels from the ground up -- working with VP Marketing, manage all strategy and operations for our digital marketing channels as we launch our new NatureBox Wellness line
  • Identify highest priority channels (among Search, Paid Search, Affiliates, Display, Referral, and others) that will yield positive ROI and reach payback goals
  • Lead strategy and execution including campaign setup, monitoring, reporting, analysis and optimization to reach customer payback goals; where appropriate, effectively manage agency partners to maximize ROI
  • Track and report on performance across channels, establishing necessary KPIs and reporting frameworks for each channel
  • Collaborate with product manager to design, test, and measure new landing pages and user flows with targeted customer value propositions  

A successful candidate will have many of the following:

  • 4-6 years experience in digital marketing, preferably in an e-commerce company or digital agency
  • Experience in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Analytics and/or other site analytics tools -- and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly 
  • Strong analytical skills and very comfortable with numbers; you love data, but you also know how to translate numbers into meaningful business recommendations 
  • Skilled at balancing strategy and execution
  • Willingness to ask bold questions, navigate tough decisions and tradeoffs, focus on the big swings, and operate with empathy for users
  • Bonus points if you have experience marketing in a regulated industry (i.e., CBD)
